#SocialLeader Recap: “Digging into What Employees Want from Leaders. Hint: It’s Social”

We are deep into the social age and the number of Social CEOs is on the rise. However, some leaders have yet to grasp what the social age means and what their employees really want from them.

Our focus on #SocialLeader chat this past Monday was to get inside the heads’ of employees and discover why working for a social CEO is so desirable. Here’s what we learned:

  • Connected employees expect their leaders to be open, honest and connected too
  • Leaders need to embrace social and bring it into the workplace
  • If a leader isn’t on social, he’s not automatically an anti-social dinosaur

For more insight into what the members of the #SocialLeader community really want from their leaders, check out the recap below.

Join us this Monday, October 5th for yet another great conversation. As always, we start at 8pm ET.

There’s a more human way to do business.

In the Social Age, it’s how we engage with customers, collaborators and strategic partners that matters; it’s how we create workplace optimism that sets us apart; it’s how we recruit, retain (and repel) employees that becomes our differentiator. This isn’t a “people first, profits second” movement, but a “profits as a direct result of putting people first” movement.
