Switch and Shift’s Top 11 Guest Posts of 2013

post“Stand for something important. You’ll be amazed at the caliber of person you attract to your cause.” When Bernie Turner shared with me this one secret to all his success in life several years ago, I never realized just how prophetic it would be. But as I reviewed our most popular posts of 2013, again and again his wisdom played over in my mind.

As most of you probably realize by now, Switch and Shift is not a two, three, or even four-person endeavor. Shawn, Mark, Beth, and I have hosted well over 100 brilliant guest contributors in the past year alone. The quality of their writing, their status as thought-leaders in the field of business leadership or beyond… it’s truly humbling.

Without further ado, here are the eleven most popular blog posts as measured by your social sharing.* This list is in descending order, so we start with the 11th most popular post and end with #1.

Enjoy! And don’t forget to bookmark this page!

*Our thinking is this: if a lot of people read a post, well, that’s fine. But which posts do they enjoy enough to share with their networks? That is the measure of a successful post, at least in our books. This year, as last, we looked just at number of tweets. We’re likely to expand it to all social sharing next year, if the crew at Flares can get their widget to live up to its potential.
